BEN JACKSON
Ben has thirteen years experience in the media industry, having worked with some of the UK’s leading broadcasters and digital publishers. He has produced for Channel Four and Granada television and had a long spell as Head of Production at Bauer Digital maximizing the web presence and digital content of brands such as Empire Magazine, heat, Q, 4 Music and Kiss Radio.
Ben has a passion for filmmaking and photography and is truly at home in the world of digital media. Whether planning for and building a new online entity or working on a viral web campaign, he loves to take a idea from concept to delivery.
Not afraid to get his hands dirty Ben loves a challenge and is calm under pressure. He will go to any length to get the job done and project delivered on time and on budget – as any good producer should. He is a BBC trained camera operator and Final Cut Pro editor.
On a personal note he has recently left London to move to the wilds of Norfolk, where he has been rearing Gloucester Old Spot pigs and growing veg. Don’t be mistaken though, his involvement in the digital world has not diminished as he has recently been lead on a national education initiative bringring colleges up to date in digital media technologies. The project has just been awarded a prestigious National Beacon Award for educational innovation.
